Admissions
Process
At our inclusive micro-school, we embrace diversity and are committed to providing quality education to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other learning diversities. Our admission process ensures that every student's unique needs are understood and catered to appropriately. To enroll a student, the following steps must be completed:
Introductory Tour Meeting:
Click here (TOUR CALENDAR LINK) to schedule an introductory tour meeting with the school administration team.
-
During this meeting, the school's inclusive philosophy, curriculum, and support services are explained.
-
The administration team will have an opportunity to discuss your child's specific learning needs and review all documentation and IEPs, if applicable.
Shadow Day for Students:
Click here (SHADOW DAY LINK) to schedule a shadow day for your child.
-
Prospective students are invited to spend a day at the school to experience the environment and interact with current students and staff.
-
This provides an opportunity for the student to get a feel for the school's atmosphere and for the staff to observe the student's interaction and comfort within the school setting.
Enrollment Forms and Fees:
Click here (ENROLLMENT FORM LINK) to access and complete the enrollment documents.
-
A registration fee and a student resource fee are required at this stage to secure the student's place in the admission process.
Review of Previous Documentation:
-
Parents are requested to provide all documentation from the student's previous school(s).
-
This includes academic records, IEP documents, psychological evaluations, and any other relevant assessments.
Individualized Assessment:
-
A comprehensive assessment is conducted for each prospective student.
-
Our team of educators and specialists evaluates the student's academic abilities, learning styles, and any additional support requirements.
-
The assessment helps us understand how to create an individualized education plan for the student.
Trial enrollment Period:
-
A 30-day trial period is recommended to assess the student's comfort and progress within the micro-school environment.
-
The trial period allows both the student and the school to determine if it's the right fit.
Acceptance and Enrollment:
-
Upon successful completion of the assessment and trial period, the student is officially accepted into the micro-school.
-
Parents or guardians are required to finalize all necessary paperwork and complete any remaining formalities.
At our inclusive micro-school, we believe in building a supportive and nurturing community where every student can thrive. The admission process is designed to understand and cater to the specific needs of each student, ensuring they receive the best possible education and support.
